Lisa Raihana Sayedi Named 2025 Long Island’s Young Professional

Congratulations to Lisa Raihana Sayedi, The Heckscher Museum’s Manager of Community Outreach. Lisa was recognized as a Class of 2025 Honoree for the ‘Celebrate Long Island’s Young Professionals’ Award from the Huntington Chamber of Commerce.

The award honors those individuals under 30 who are making a difference on Long Island. According to the Chamber, the honorees “are ideal role models for our Long Island communities. [Their] commitment to the betterment of our community and business is awe inspiring.” Among the 15 honorees was also Phillip Griffin, Legislative Secretary to Councilwoman Theresa Mari, an enthusiastic Museum supporter as a member in several committees. The Museum congratulates all the honorees.

Lisa joined The Heckscher Museum of Art in 2017 as a Museum Educator. She quickly moved up the ranks to Lead Educator, Lead Educator & Docent Coordinator, Manager of Community Outreach & Docents. She was named Manager of Community Engagement in 2024.

The awards will be presented on March 20 at Larkfield in Commack, NY.
