Responsibilities include: Welcoming guests, tracking attendance, promoting and selling memberships, collecting donations and payment processing, answering the phone and emails, registering visitors for programs, and answering visitor questions about exhibitions, programs, membership, etc.
Skills required: Strong customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills. Proficient at using technology (computer, iPad, cell phone).
Schedule: GE Volunteers must volunteer for at least one 3-hour shift per week. Shifts are Thursday – Sunday, 11:30 am – 2:30 pm & 2:30 – 5:30 pm. Weekend availability is required.
Thorough training is provided.
