Earlier today, Dr. Karli Wurzelbacher, Curator, led members and sponsors on a special tour of The Heckscher Museum’s current exhibition, Locally Sourced: Collecting Long Island Artists.  Touching on important works and themes in the Museum-wide exhibition, the interactive tour gave guests an opportunity to ask behind-the-scenes questions about curating the show, and about specific works on view in the four galleries. Events like these are an important benefit of membership!
